The fleet of the Esse 750 will have their first of two official class events of this season from 14th – 15th of May 2016 on Lake Zürich (SUI). The Esse 750 Castle Cup is a combination of one long distance race from Zürich to Rapperswil on Saturday and several up&down races on Sunday in Rapperswil. The total result of the Esse 750 Castle Cup will be added up with the total result of the Esse 750 St. Moritz Cup (July 2016) in order to determine the winner of the first Esse 750 overall year ranking, namely the Esse 750 IC Cup, at the end of the season.

For the long distance race on Saturday 14th of the Esse 750 Castle Cup 2016 it is arbitrary whether skippers participate singlehandedly or with their team. However, on Sunday 15th only teams will be allowed to start. The total result of the Esse 750 Castle Cup will be calculated out of the results of both days. Due to organizational matters all teams need to register (see links below) for each day separately. Entries close on the 8th of May 2016.

• Saturday 14th of May (long distance): Registration and Notice of Race
• Sunday 15th of May (up&down): Registration (Sailing Instructions will be distributed during Skipper's Meeting on Sunday at 09:30 at YCR. First starting signal on Sunday at 10:30 inside bay of Kempraten in front of Rapperswil.)
